Q&A

I have a full grown male cat who is fine with dogs unless they bother him. I am wondering if it is possible for a NAID to become friends with a adult cat and be able to be around one with trying to kill it when i am not present. I am looking for a NAID breeder around indiana or a state close to.

Sure you can, it doesn't matter the age of the cat, just as long as the NAID is a puppy when it's introduced to cats.

I recently rescued a 5 yr old NAID, and have 2 full grown large male cats. One was immediately fine with the new member and vise versa, but the other was nervous for a bit, but they've worked it out and are great friends. I wouldn't recommend introducing a small or skittish cat, as they are easily confused as prey or squeak toys. In fact, I wouldn't have ANY SMALL PETS(under 15 lbs), as our guinea pig did not fare well upon "impromptu introduction"(RIP Kibble)
