A Pugshire (also known as a Porkie or a Yuggie) is a mix between a Yorkshire Terrier and a Pug. They closely resemble pugs however, they are slightly smaller and their hair can grow a little longer than a pug's hair but not as long as a Yorkie's. The only ones I have seen thus far are the Fawn color (tan with the distinctive black snout/nose). They also have a short, thick tail that curls.
The Pugshire is very loving and loyal. It loves to be around people as well as other dogs that will accept it. It is energetic and playful but enjoys long naps as well. Generally, the Pugshire is a smart breed and is capable for independent thought. Owners need to be patient when training.
Pugshires require very little maintenance. Pugs shed and Yorkies do not. Luckily, Pugshires don't shed either. A bath every week or two with an oatmeal shampoo will keep their coat clean. Their hair can be left alone or trimmed down to a very short pug length.
A Pugshire's ideal environment where they are loved and given attention. They love kids and other animals as well. They are playful and can't wait to see you when you return home. They love playing, going for walks, and snuggling afterwards. They are the perfect companion.

Bella hasn't come home yet because she is to young. In one week she will finally be part of our family. She is very sweet and cuddly and loves giving kisses. I can't wait to bring her home and start our long happy life.

She is so full of energy & loves to play.Emma learned to play with tennis ball and would bring it back to me when I throw it to her,she learned this at about 4 months watching me play ball with my lab. She was very easy to housebreak, I think once again seeing how my lab would go outside. On the other hand she does not like sharing toys,she wants them all,lol. Emma is so sweet & lovable,and when it's nap time she likes to be left alone,she will eventually curl up at the back of my head,as long as she's touching me she happy!
