Maintenance

Schnese is a hybrid dog that requires moderate maintenance because of his body structure. Daily brushing is must until the coats are short. Being an average shedder, he requires vacuum at frequent intervals. The canine needs weekly checking of his ears, cleaning them as required using a cotton ball and canine ear wash. Trim his long nails with which it can hurt himself. This care will cease the growth of periodontal disease as well as the tooth loss.

Schnese is among those canines, which shows an active attitude towards his life. He tends to be playful and cheering when given proper care. Aiding him two times daily walk, playtime in the fenced back yard or hanging him in interesting games like fetch, Frisbee, and flyball help him to maintain the energy levels. He is a high prey canine that can drive anywhere in search of his prey. It is important to keep an eye on his activity. An apartment or a condo is suitable to keep him because of his smaller size and quiet nature.
